East Bay Business Times Recognizes Region’s Fastest-Growing Privately Owned Companies with Fast 50 Awards

MILESTONE ranks 12th in percentage revenue growth.

Berkeley, California – September 11th, 2008 -- The East Bay Business Times today recognized and ranked 50 of the region's fastest-growing private companies and named MILESTONE the 12th-ranked company in percentage revenue growth over the past three years. The award was bestowed at the Business Times annual Fastest-Growing Private Companies Awards. The honor recognizes skill in managing a rapidly growing company, showing robust revenues, and creating business strategies that led to success in a competitive business environment in the period between 2005 and 2007.

"For the second year, we have been able to give the business community a list of the fastest growing, smartest, and most successful companies that everyone should be watching," said East Bay Business Times Publisher Mike Consol. MILESTONE, a Fremont-based IT support services company has seen its revenue grow by 108 percent since 2005, making it the number 12 private company in the 2008 Fast 50 Awards. Founded in 1997, MILESTONE assists Fortune 1000 companies by assuming responsibility for sensitive, time-critical, technology service projects.

These top-rated companies and MILESTONE were honored on Sept. 11 at Golden Gate Fields, venue for the East Bay Business Times awards ceremony. Title for the Fast 50 program was the law firm of Littler Mendelson. Other sponsors included the accounting firm of Armanino McKenna, Union Bank of California, the San Francisco chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and the digital printing and copying company Studio Blue.

The Fast 50 list was determined by survey information gathered by the East Bay Business Times and verified by Armanino McKenna. Applications were submitted by private companies throughout the East Bay region.
