Dateline: Fremont, CA This December, MILESTONE held its annual all-hands meeting. Employees worldwide were invited to join the meeting hosted at MILESTONE headquarters in Fremont, California. MILESTONE CEO and President Prem Chand delivered the meeting. This meeting was broadcasted online enabling employees in the US, Australia, India, and Ireland among many other countries to listen in and have their questions answered. With the majority of MILESTONE employees located at client sites, these meetings reinforce the feeling of community by spreading timely information. The purpose of the meeting was to make announcements regarding policies, review the past year, and discuss opportunities for 2010. Chand focused on how MILESTONE realigned their business model in 2009 to counter the economic downturn by providing clients with timely, additional services at a fair price. He discussed the reality of the industry outlook stating that “clients expect more with less.” In 2010, MILESTONE will continue to develop their service lines in accordance with the needs of IT industry needs. These needs include video conferencing support, server virtualization and optimization, mobile computing support among a long list of next generation computing technology. MILESTONE is building new business relationships with several major partners. Recently, MILESTONE announced the first ever deployment contract for Cisco routing and switching equipment into dozens of hospital facilities. In addition, Microsoft has again awarded MILESTONE with the coveted ‘Gold’ Partner designation. As 2010 unfolds, MILESTONE will announce other highly strategic alliances that will augment the service capability and value of MILESTONE to its clients. |
