Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Prem Chand has served as President and CEO of Milestone Technologies, Inc. since he founded the company in 1997. He has a background in business management and served as Vice President and CFO of an IT logistics firm earlier in his career.
Prem created Milestone Technologies as a company driven by a strong focus on client success and employee satisfaction. Since then, Prem has continued to lead Milestone into the future of IT; his leadership was exemplified when he won the “2012 Entrepreneur of the Year” award from the North State Innovation Awards committee for his commitment to supporting economic growth and technology development in Northern California. He was also a semifinalist in the “2012 and 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year” contest.
Executive Vice President of Sales and Services
Jay Preston has served as EVP of Sales and Services at Milestone since 2012. Jay began his technology career at Quantum Corporation and has worked with startup companies like Panasas and ONI Systems (acquired by CIENA). Most recently, Jay completed a six-year term at Cisco, where he served as a Director in the Services Sales Organization and earned the Chairman’s Club Award—a distinction reserved for the top 2% of Cisco sales executives personifying leadership, teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Jay’s responsibilities at Milestone include global sales, marketing, and engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University.
Executive Vice President of People Operations
Amy Hanlon-Rodemich is Milestone’s Executive Vice President of People Operations. Most recently serving as Yahoo’s Global Head of HRAnswers, Amy has a wealth of experience in HR, driving numerous initiatives to enhance the employee experience, communication, and process improvement.
Currently, Amy is responsible for ensuring that Milestone’s talent acquisition, corporate operations and HR processes support our mission and vision of revolutionizing IT. She holds a BA in English from Tufts University and a Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development from USF.
Vice President of Finance
Jim Schultz has served as CFO and VP of Finance for Milestone since 2000 and has been a senior financial executive since 1983 in both the technology and manufacturing service sectors. Jim has played a significant role in the development and management of Milestone’s global operations. He has also been instrumental in the creation of Milestone’s business infrastructure applications, ranging from the company’s proprietary operation scheduling and job costing program to cloud-based ERP and business intelligence applications. Jim has also negotiated Milestone’s acquisition of two IT solutions companies.
Currently, Jim oversees domestic and international financial operations, including the continuing expansion of Milestone’s global presence. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from CSU East Bay.
Vice President of Contact Center Services
Lucretia Brown is Milestone’s Vice President of Contact Center Services. She has over 24 years of Contact Center Operations experience serving in a variety of leadership roles with strategic and global responsibilities for companies including Kodak, Western Union and most recently TeleTech.
As Milestone’s VP of Contact Center Services, Lucretia is responsible for creating a scalable operation that consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience, while focusing on opportunities for growth through client relationships.
Vice President of IT Managed Services
Rob Pfeifle has been a technology leader at Milestone since 2007 as a Service Delivery Executive and Director of Organizational Development. Prior to Milestone, Rob served in various IT consulting and operational design roles at companies such as Chevron, Lawrence Livermore Laboratories, and Cisco Systems.
In his current role, Rob is responsible for building and managing IT service delivery teams across Milestone’s global customer base. Rob received his degree from the University of Denver.
