Jim Andersen is a senior marketing professional whose career has spanned over 30 years. During this time, Andersen has been principally engaged in service sector marketing.

Andersen has broad experience in market research, market segmentation, advertising, business planning, brand development and marketing strategy. Andersen is also an expert in understanding and applying the social sciences (psychology, sociology, economics and anthropology) to marketing programs.

A coincidental career path crossing with MILESTONE founder Prem Chand occurred over twenty years ago. Chand (finance) and Andersen (marketing) both worked for the same California-based, high technology and logistics service firm. They worked together for ten years, ultimately positioning that company for acquisition.

In 2007, as Prem Chand was orienting MILESTONE for its next level of growth and maturity, he engaged Andersen in a marketing consulting contract. During this engagement, Andersen provided MILESTONE with strategic guidance in the formulation of MILESTONE’s corporate mark, the co-branding of MILESTONE’s service offerings and in the development of MILESTONE’s current marketing messages.

Jim Andersen joined MILESTONE full-time in July 2009 to continue the marketing work. Andersen’s duties include corporate communications, web-based marketing, creative design, marketing department management, literature development, sales lead acquisition, and partner marketing programs.

Today, Andersen is responsible for the developing and implementing marketing strategies that enhance and support the position of MILESTONE within its current markets and beyond. Jim Andersen sits on the MILESTONE executive committee and contributes to the strategic direction of the company.
