FREMONT, Calif.—Milestone Technologies, Inc. (MILESTONE) announced the appointment of Kasey Konkright as its Director of Recruiting. Konkright will report directly to Jim Glueck, MILESTONE’s Chief Operating Officer.
Konkright’s initial focus at MILESTONE is to implement and review new applicant tracking and on-boarding systems/methodologies to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience. Konkright plans to continue improving vendor relations and practices, leverage social media and cloud-based technologies, and to implement business-focused metrics to evaluate team performance. He wants to “ensure that we are able to scale the recruitment function as our company grows, so we can meet the needs of the business.” Konkright’s passion for HR is fueled by his desire to seek operational excellence at all levels of an organization.
Prior to joining MILESTONE, Konkright has held multiple HR leadership roles, including managing HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams at LG Electronics. One of Konkright’s favorite projects gave him the opportunity to travel to Korea, to advise and implement the first standardized global performance and capability management system for the company’s 65,000+ employees worldwide.
Konkright has the proven experience to lead his team to scale the recruitment process at MILESTONE. Since his arrival, the Recruiting Department increased the speed of filling open positions with top notch candidates.
With over 12 years of HR and Recruiting experience, Konkright brings forward a sophisticated recruiting analysis and harbors a diverse background in HR operations and performance. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a triple major in human resources, management and marketing. He received his Masters in Human Resources from San Diego State University, and also earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate. Yet, he explains “A school can’t teach you how to have good judgment. The most useful knowledge I’ve learned is from experience on the job.”
